Top 5 Reasons To Go Solar In 2026

A beautiful solar home.

2026 Is The Best Year There Will Ever Be To Go Solar.

In 2026, there is a 22% federal tax credit available when you install solar panels. This credit expires in 2022. This is a tax credit - for the full amount! This is not merely a deduction from your income. It's a full credit.

What is the difference betweeen a tax deduction and tax credit?

A tax deduction is exactly that, a deduction from your income. So if you got a tax deduction of $3,000 for example, you would deduct that from your taxable income, and pay less tax on that income. You would pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $985 less tax (assuming an average, middle class income).

A tax CREDIT on the other hand is a credit for the full amount. So with a $3,000 tax credit, you would owe $3,000 less at the end of the year, or get $3,000 MORE with your tax refund! (assuming you normally get a refund).

This HUGE 22% solar tax credit expires at the end of 2026.

This is not 'fake news'. Read about this tax credit program and how it will end in 2022 on the US Department of Energy website here.

If Solar has been on your to-do list for way too long, this is your year! This is your golden window of opportunity to make it happen!

Smart homeowners know 2026 is the last year to do this and still get that huge 22% rebate.  If you wait until the middle of the year, solar installers are going to be completely booked up.  Don't miss your opportunity, get the process started TODAY by clicking the button below!

1. No Electric Bill.

Today's solar is far more efficient than it was just 5 years ago.  In most situations, a system installed today can power 100% of your home.  All year.  Even in states with a long winter. Your only charge would be a small fee ($8-$11/month) to connect to the grid.

In some cases you can even generate a surplus and get PAID every month!

2. No More Surprise Rate Hikes From Your Energy Provider.

When was the last time the power company raised your rates? Remember how awful that felt? One more bill getting larger - for no reason!

When you make your own solar electricity, you give yourself and your family, complete protection against rising energy costs in the future.

What is your electric bill today?  Let's say it's $150/month.  What do you think it's going to be 10 years from now?  $250? $300?  More?

Surprise!

When you make your own electricity with solar panels, the electricity is FREE. Your electric bill will never, ever go up again. Because there is no electric bill.

3. Add, on average, $15,000 to the Value of your home.

This is the most overlooked reason to go solar.  And this alone often covers the entire price of the install.

This study from the US Department of Energy shows that the average solar home sells for a $15,000 premium over a non-solar home!

What are you waiting for?

4. Huge government subsidies are available Today - But not forever!

The government created these rebate programs to encourage people to adopt new technology in the beginning, kind of a jumpstart.  But eventually the rebate program ends.

Don't miss the boat on these HUGE rebates!

These rebates will not be available in the future. In fact the biggest tax credit will be gone after December 31st, 2026! Now is the time to act.

5. Financed Solar Panels Cost LESS Than Your Current Electric Bill

Did you know you can finance solar panels the same way you financed your home with a mortgage?

"But I don't want to take on more debt."

Really?  Even smart debt? Even if it can lower your monthly bills?

If you financed a $10,000 solar system at 4.5% that equals a payment of $55/month. (finance calculator

What's your electric bill this month? I bet it's a lot higher than $55!

You can pay less than what you pay today, and have it never go up! ...instead of having an ever increasing electric bill.

This isn't like buying your home where your mortgage was initially MORE than your rent, but you were investing in the future so it was a good decision.

This is an investment in the future that is SOOOO GOOOD, it actually saves you money today.  You can lower today's bill and your future bills.  That's why we call this a no-brainer!

It IS a no-brainer.  It makes total financial sense. The only hard part is taking that first step and getting the ball rolling. We'll make that easy for you, all you have to do is click the button below:

Let's Do The Math:

Let's say you are an average US family with an electric bill of $200 every month.

Your solar system would cost $14,000. But you live in a zip code with high rebates and get $4,620 combined from state and federal.

Your cost is now a mere $9,380.  With good credit, you are able to finance 100% of that to a monthly payment of about $52 (finance calculator)

This new $52 bill is far lower than the $200 electric bill it replaces!

AND you just added $15k to the value of your home.

This is why going solar is a no-brainer today! You would be foolish not to do this. You get the panels, add value to your home, and pay LESS every month. Today. You can have lower monthly bills today.

How Do I Get The Big Government Rebates?

I can't encourage you guys enough to ACT NOW.  These rebate programs are already expiring.

This guide from the Department of Energy, shows the biggest federal tax credit program - a 26% credit, already expired at the end of 2020.

For 2026 that tax credit is still a HUGE 22%. But it is gone by 2022! This is why you have to TAKE ACTION TODAY.

Today there is a perfect-storm opportunity, for solar.  Solar prices came down 80% in the last 10 years.  And right now the rebates are still available!

Don’t wait until the rebates are gone, and then be kicking yourself, because the prices BARELY come down any more. The vast majority of the price decline of solar panels has already happened.

The only hard part is taking that first step and getting the ball rolling. We'll make it easy for you, all you have to do is click the button below:
